A new opportunity has arisen within our client's Financial Planning team. The Paraplanner will provide crucial technical support to a Trust Officer (Financial Advisor) and their assistant, contributing to client portfolio analysis, advisory support, and investment planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis on client investment portfolios to support the Trust Officer and assistant.
- Prepare minutes from client meetings, records of advice, and proposal documents.
- Assist in client needs analysis and offer advisory support services.
- Generate and provide regular client reporting.
- Prepare and organize financial reviews and reports for the Trust Officer.
- Resolve client-related queries and oversee investment transaction changes.
- Coordinate closely with internal and external specialists in investment administration, marketing, and service departments.
- Oversee client service responsibilities under supervision, focusing on client retention and growth.
- Progression opportunity to manage and service existing clients over time.
Key Requirements:
- A relevant tertiary qualification (B Com or similar) is required, or studying towards it.
- A postgraduate qualification is essential, with a preference for CFP.
- Proficiency in MS Office (intermediate to advanced Excel skills).
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Fluency in English (second local language preferred).
- Clean drivers license (own vehicle preferred).
